The Putnam Valley Baseball Association is a volunteer organization, comprised of 10 members, established to govern and manage the Baseball and Softball programs of the Putnam Valley Parks and Recreation Department in conjunction with Commissioner Ray Gallagher, under the direction of Parks and Recreation and the Putnam Valley Parks and Recreation Commission.  The group meets year round to address issues such as registration, evaluations, growth, field management, equipment, uniforms, sponsors and rules.  Within the PVBA is the Coaches Association which handles fundraising events for extra items not necessarily covered in the town budget.

The PVBA has been in existence since 2004 and has overseen the growth of the league from 80 to over well 400 children.  Volunteerism has grown to over 100 individuals assisting with the betterment of the baseball and softball leagues in Putnam Valley.  Each year, we’ve grown in leaps and bounds, and we suspect that those numbers will rise rapidly with the addition of four Major League teams in baseball and six new girl’s softball teams that will take the field this spring for the first time.

We’re proud of these accomplishments and hope the community understands our pledge to be the best we can be. We welcome new pledges and trust you’ll reach out to us when interested.
